Golf Instruction

The Hanover Country Club, located in Abbottstown PA, offers golf instruction for members and non-members. Lessons can be booked in 30 or 60 minute increments. For additional information, call 717-259-8422.

Brian Leib, Head Golf Professional

Brian has been the Head Golf Professional since 2000. A quarter century member of the PGA of America with election into the PGA of America in 1986. Brian has served on the Central Counties PGA Board of Directors. Brian has had multiple tournament victories in the Tri-State PGA section and Central Counties PGA. He qualified for the 2016 National Senior PGA Championship. Brian hosted the State PGA Championship between the Philadelphia PGA & Tri-State PGA Sections. Currently, Brian is the President of the York County PGA Junior Golf Association.

Jeff VanEtten, Teaching Professional

HCC Teaching Professional Jeff VanEtten is a quarter-century member of the PGA of America and is successful in all areas of golf instruction to include professional and amateur golfers. He has been teaching golf for more than 30 years in York County. Jeff's teaching and playing accomplishments go hand in hand with his success. He had outstanding college and amateur playing accomplishments which include winning back-to-back Central Counties Publinks Amateur championships and also qualifying for the USGA Amateur in 1986. Since turning pro in 1987, Jeff has been a medalist in the local US Open qualifier and has won several CCC PGA Pro Ams.
Jeff enjoys using his experience to mentor junior golfers while promoting the future of golf. He has taught and mentored several junior golfers over the past thirty years who are now Class A members of the PGA of America. Whether instructing a beginner or accomplished player, Jeff has a passion for helping people improve and enjoy the game of a lifetime! Sasha Neufeld, Teaching Professional

Sasha Neufeld grew up in Cornwall, PA just outside the town of Lebanon, PA. He attended Cedar Crest H.S. and lettered in three varsity sports - golf, ice hockey and baseball - as well as earning national honors society recognition through his schoolwork. He then went on to attend Penn St. University main campus. Initially a Pre-med major, he enrolled in the PGM program following his freshman year. Sasha has worked at many public and private golf facilities over his years in the business. Included on this list is Hershey C.C. on both the Pro Shop and turf maintenance staff for many years, as well as most recently, the assistant professional at Bon Air C.C. He has always had a passion for the game of golf, which has allowed him to gain extensive knowledge teaching in addition to proficiently playing the game. He is looking forward to bringing his talents and experience to Hanover C.C. to assist in making this club the best it can be.
